The pressure is certainly on for Lady Gaga, but let’s prepare ourselves by remembering the very best – and absolute worst –  Super Bowl halftime show performances there has ever been.

1. Worst: Gloria Estefan & Olympic Figure Skaters – 1992

The theme was “Winter Magic” in keeping with the spirit of the Minnesota. There was definitely winter, but we’re just not sure about the magic part. Millions of Americans tuned into see randomly choreographed gigantic snowmen and famous ice skaters run around the field while Gloria Estefan sang her heart out in a sequinned black dress. The performance was so questionable that In Living Color‘s live comedy special, which everyone expected to flop, ultimately won out in the viewing figures.
