ZTE has announced the Blade A2 Plus in India, a new entry in the budget category of smartphones. The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer launched the phone exclusively on Flipkart and aims to target the like of the Moto E and Xiaomi’s lineup. Let’s take a look at what this phone has to offer.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS, 2.5D display. The device weighs in at 189g and the fingerprint scanner is located at the back of the device. It sports a 13MP PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) sensor and a LED Flash on it’s back and an 8MP front camera sensor.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz. It comes equipped with 4GB RAM and Mali T860 GPU for the graphics. It is VoLTE enabled and also comes equipped with 32GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB. It also comes with dual SIM slots. The ZTE will be running ZTE’s Mi-Favor OS based on Android Marshmallow, which is disappointing considering Nougat is hitting most devices which are releasing this year. It also uses the micro USB 2.0 standard.
Pricing and Availability
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be priced at Rs 11,999 and will be exclusively available in Flipkart. It does face heavy competition in this price range, especially the likes of Motorola (Moto E series) and Xiaomi.
